Nov. 2002: MITSUBISHI provides new trench IGBTs in CM-modules

 The carrier stored trench bipolar (CSTB-)transistor technology has found its way also in the new IGBT-modules.

 The 5th generation of insulated gate bipolar transistors comes up with distinct lower VCE(sat) rates, allowing smaller
 packages and improved throughput.
