Oct. 2002: MITSUBISHI presents the next generation of IGBTs

 The first preliminary data sheets of the carrier stored trench bipolar (CSTB-)transistor series are available.

 The 5th generation of insulated gate bipolar transistors comes up with distinct lower VCE(sat) rates and increased  current rating of brake part.
