Feb 2014: Mitsubishi presents the 6th generation DIP-IPM series

 The next generation of Dual Inline Package Intelligent Power Modules (DIP-IPM) is now ready for promotion in Europe.  The compact transfer mold IGBTs are designed primarily for compact inverter drive systems, for example for motors,  servos or other industrial inverters. Features are embedded bootstrap diode (BSD) chips, embedded analog  temperature voltage output (VOPT) and 5A-50A current rating.

 MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC's new industrial mini DIPs help you to save energy, space in the inverter and costs. The  newest series of 600V intelligent inverters come with the most recent version of Carrier Stored Trench Gate Bipolar  Transistors (CSTBT™, a special feature of Mitsubishi Electric chips). The outlines of the DIP-IPMs are compatible with  already existing Mini DIP-IPM external dimensions.

Functions and features:

-three-phase inverter bridge with divided-emitter-type N-side (3 shunts)

-built-in IGBT, FWD, HVIC, LVIC and bootstrap diode functions

-short circuit protection by external shunt resistor

-power-supply under-voltage (UV) protection: Fo output on N-side

-analogue temperature voltage output (VOT)
